The Brain Explorer app is primarily designed as a VR experience, to make best use of this you will need a mobile VR headset. These are readily available from many on-line and high street retailers and are inexpensive. Google Cardboard lead the way with a simple headset made of cardboard however many designs have followed which allow for focusing, pupillary distance adjustment and ergonomic refinements. Simply place your smartphone into the virtual reality headset to enjoy the immersive experience.
If you do not own a VR headset you can still enjoy this app on a phone or tablet. To run the app in full screen mode toggle “VR mode on/off” in the main menu.
